Application For Epoxy & Silicone Adhesive

Syringe barrels for low-temperature epoxy adhesive/one-component silica gel

Low temperature epoxy adhesive / one-component silicone has a curing mode of heat curing or natural curing, it is sensitive to temperature, so it needs to be stored at low temperature. Usually the storage temperature should be about -20°C. And some special low-temperature epoxy adhesives are more sensitive to temperature, must be placed close to dry ice during transportation. At this time the tempera- ture may reach -40°C. In addition, fast curing low temperature epoxy adhesive usually has a large viscosi- ty, has a higher requirment on the piston while dispensing, otherwise “jump plug” will easiler accur, resulting in “empty point”, “broken glue “, “residual” and other issues.

UV adhesive

UV Syringe Barrels for Adhesive

UV adhesive usually refers to UV curing adhesive, the curing mode is UV illumination curing, sensitive to UV light, requires the syringe to have good filtration of UV light. In addition, the viscosity range relatively wide, required different looseness and tightness of the piston for dispensing. Finally the cleanliness requirements for syringes and their accessories are also rather high, e.g. in optical applications.

  • Advantage One: special anti-ultraviolet material, good filtration of ultraviolet light, up to 99.97%.

Solder Paste & Silver Glue

Syringe barrels for solder paste and silver glue

The storage temperature of solder paste for paving process is usually around -5℃, due to the high density of the paste , under such temperature, the syringe is required to be able to withstand a greater impact force and “no burst tube”. For the dispensing process with the solder paste / silver glue, based on above conditions, also requires the dispensing piston “does not jump plug”, minimize the residue as much as possible.

Thermally Conductive Adhesives

Syringe barrels for thermally conductive adhesives

Thermally conductive adhesive is usually made of silicone composite thermally conductive material with high viscosity and high specific gravity. Therefore, more air pressure is needed to ensure better dispensing efficiency. It will leads to high strength requirements for the syringe, and high requirements for the piston and syringe coordination when dispensing.
